On August 10th, 1519, Magellan’s fleet sets off from Sanlúcar de Barrameda toward the unknown. On board, a young man begins to write the story of a modest boy born in a village in Santander. A boy destined to care for his parcel of land, like his parents and grandparents did before him, and who only dreamed of learning to read and write, and to live with his great love, until one day everything went awry.
