Diana has been a guard at the Louvre for more than five years. She spends her days strolling through the rooms admiring the masterpieces on display, telling them all the details of her life in a routine she cannot seem to shake. Then, a temporary exhibition of Gustave Courbet’s work unexpectedly changes aspects of her life. And not only hers, but it also changes the lives of Claudette and Isabel; all three of them are women who live in a deceptive day-to-day reality and shelter a silent revolution under their skin. Is it life that inspires art or can art also serve as inspiration for life?
