Set in Mexico City in the 1960s, The Tomb tackles theissue of the lack of communication among parentsand children. Gabriel Guía, the main character, isthe son of a rich Mexican family. His parents pay noattention to him, so he is disenchanted and cynicaland leads an unrestrained bohemian lifestyle of sex,drugs and alcohol.
