The concept of talent belongs to popular psychology and has no real scientific definition. The author defines talent as intelligence in action, ability to choose goals carefully and to mobilize all cognitive, emotional and operational resources in order to achieve them. In short, it is successful intelligence. In this book, José Antonio Marina explains the systematic method developed for the talent generation from birth to 16 years of age, which is used in the Universidad de Padres, his online parenting school. The author also explains how this method can be applied to university and nonuniversity educational systems.
