Guerras recicladas is a work of research that reveals unpublished information on every period of Colombia’s paramilitary history. It goes into particular depth regarding big myths such as the theory that the kidnapping and murder of the Castaño brothers’ father fostered the birth of paramilitarism. It explains in detail how that was not exactly how these armed groups began. The book also contains many photographs of the true founders of paramilitarism, and maps that clearly show the regions where various conflicts took place.
