Hugo is in 5th grade and knows that staying safe at school is no easy task. Especially if you are short, the girl you have a crush on isn’t interested in you, your archenemy thinks you’re actually friends, and you and your best friend have gotten stuck with horrible nicknames.

But don't worry: Hugo’s other best friend is the cleverest girl at school. Thanks to her, he’ll survive the battle of flying erasers, a basketball championship, a supernanny mother, conversations about chickens, and many more adventures that readers will enjoy. School has never been so much fun!
